Craghoppers at PrintLab: Clothing Built for Adventure, Backed by Purpose

| Paul Tucker

We don’t just supply clothing, we align with brands that share our values. That’s why we’re proud to offer Craghoppers, a world-renowned outdoor and travel clothing brand with an unmatched legacy in innovation, sustainability, and adventure.

From rugged outerwear to pioneering fabric technology, Craghoppers’ garments are made to perform and built to last. But beyond the technical specs, there’s a deeper reason we stand behind them: their commitment to doing things the right way, for people and the planet.

A Brand Born for Adventure

Craghoppers was founded in 1965 in West Yorkshire by Brian Gaskin and Roy Holmes two men inspired by the harsh British outdoors and driven to create durable, high performance clothing for real world explorers.

Their mission hasn’t changed: to make comfortable, practical, and sustainable outdoor gear that keeps you on the trail for longer.

Craghoppers quickly earned their reputation when they were chosen to produce the official expedition gear for Chris Bonington’s Everest expedition in 1975 a moment that cemented their place in outdoor history.

Decades of Innovation and Recognition

Innovation has always been woven into the fabric of Craghoppers. Over nearly six decades, they’ve introduced:

NosiLife® – Industry-leading insect-repellent clothing, made with built-in permethrin treatment that repels biting insects and reduces disease risk.

Kiwi Trousers – A staple in hiking wardrobes, continuously evolving with recycled materials and weather-resistant coatings like EcoShield.

Dynamic 12000 Technology – Designed to reflect infrared rays back into the body to improve stamina and reduce recovery time.

Eco footwear and recycled technologies – From recycled coffee bean midsoles to waxed rice bark jackets, Craghoppers leads in turning waste into wearable innovation.

Craghoppers has received prestigious awards, including a Millennium Product Award and multiple ISPO Awards, solidifying their place as a performance brand with purpose.

Sustainability That’s More Than a Buzzword

Craghoppers didn’t jump on the sustainability bandwagon they helped build the road. Long before it was a marketing point, they were offering lifetime guarantees on their clothing and implementing recycled fabrics and reduced packaging.

By Winter 2020, 70% of their product line was made from recycled materials a jump from just 12% the year before. And they continue to explore plant-based waxes, oyster shell fibres, and low-impact dyes in their Mindfully Made collection.

For us at PrintLab, that level of integrity matters. It means we’re providing our customers with garments that aren’t just functional—they reflect ethical manufacturing, environmental care, and long-term wearability.
