How Does 3D Puff Embroidery Work?
Digitising for Puff
Every 3D puff project starts with expert digitising. Your design is converted into a stitch file optimised to stitch over foam—this isn’t your standard embroidery file!
Foam Placement
A piece of high-density, heat-resistant foam is placed under the fabric in the shape of the design. This foam gives the embroidery its height and structure.
Embroidery Over Foam
We stitch directly over the foam using our high-tension Tajima embroidery machines. The foam is compressed and cut cleanly by the needlework, locking in the raised effect.
Finishing Touches
After stitching, we remove any excess foam and clean the edges, leaving a crisp, dimensional design that stands out from every angle.
