True Embroidery Experts

We do a lot more than just standard left chest embroidery. Our expertise from putting time into research and development has allowed us to offer many different special effects to customers than most companies just won't do.

Metallic Threads

Metallic threads are a certain type of thread that appears to be made of metal, but is actually made of a synthetic material called metallised polyester. You can transform a flat, 2D design into a 3D type picture using metallic thread. When in sunlight, the threads sparkles with a metallic glitter like finish. It is truly eye-catching and adds a good kick to any embroidered design.

SuperTwist Metallic Threads

Supertwist threads are much like metallic in that they are made of metallised polyester, sparkle in daylight, and add a kick of magic to any design. However supertwist threads create textured dimension and dazzling embroideries with this triple twisted metallised thread, exclusive to us.

The strong nylon core and metallic base enhance both its shimmering appearance on many applications. The finish will add extra highlights that will change depending on the angle of the light. This is truly our most stand out metallic thread.

Wool Threads and Micro Chinelle

Burmilana Wool thread is a 50% acrylic 50% wool mix approximately three times thicker than standard embroidery thread. Burmilana is a strong, thick weight thread which fills designs quickly. It is ideal to use in large areas of solid colours that will bring an extremely thick and soft finishing garment.

Out of Burmilana Wool thread we can create a unique and super thick textured embroidery effect that has a 3D raised look. This is called micro-chinelle, we achieve this fluffy look by stitching three layers of Burmilana Wool on top of each other to build up the thickness, ultimately the stunning finish will be approximately 9 times thicker than standard thread once layered.

Frosted Matt Threads

This polyester thread comes with a beautiful matt effect finish, the world’s first truly matt and lightfast embroidery thread. Produced using exclusive dyeing techniques, ensuring colours are intense, extremely lightfast and bleach resistant. We find this thread is particular useful on large fill backgrounds to help lettering or details in standard polyester neon thread shine on top.

Multi Colour Threads

Exclusive from Print Lab, our Multi Colour Threads change colour as they sew. This is particularly special as it makes every embroidered design unique. We find these are particular effective on fill patterns inside shapes, or to be used on medium to large sized script lettering if you are looking for a striped finish.

Embroidered Patches

An embroidered patch is a piece of embroidery which is created by using a fabric backing and thread. They can be applied to garments using thread with an adhesive backing. Great for caps or sleeve patches. Patches are especially useful on sportswear.

If you have a logo that is heavily detailed and will be an intensive stitch out, it may be best to embroider and patch and heat seal it onto a sportswear garment. Sportswear can be a challenge to embroider for most companies, but you can rest assured we will not let any embroidered sportswear garment leave our studio that's not up to our high standards of quality.

Applique

Tackle Twill, or applique, involves sewing down a number or letter made by cutting pieces of one material and applying them to the surface of another material. This process is great for covering large areas with a logo or text where strictly embroidering it would be too heavy or make the garment uncomfortable to wear.

3D Puff

3D Puff is a technique where foam is inserted under the top stitch to raise the surface, giving a three-dimensional look to your embroidered designs. This 3D effect is most commonly used on caps.
